Man sentenced to 45 years for two counts of assault in 2012

An armed man on parole for a violent crime who led police on two high-speed pursuits on two consecutive days in July 2012 has been sentenced to 45 years in prison.
A Tarrant County jury deliberated for several hours Wednesday, March 26, before convicting John B. Isbell, 54, of two charges of assault on a public servant and one charge of deadly conduct.
