Mr. Mauldin was born Jan. 27, 1919 to Tolton and Lonie Mauldin. He was retired from General Dynamics where he was an active member of the IAM union, he served in the Army Air Corps and was a volunteer firefighter for many years for Spillway Fire Department.… Read the rest

Charlie Glenn Bourne, 81, loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather, went to be with his wife in heaven Tuesday, April 8, 2014.
Services were held Friday, April 11, at Walnut Creek Baptist Church under the direction of White’s Azle Funeral Home. Interment was in New Hope Cemetery.
Charlie was born in Durant, Oklahoma to William and Maggie Bourne on Nov. 19, 1932. He married his late wife, Arita, in 1951 and they made a life together in Boyd for more than 60 years.… Read the rest
Johnny Samuel Cleveland, 47, a loving son, brother and nephew, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at home.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 15, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Azleland Memorial Park. Burial immediately followed.
Johnny was born Feb. 1, 1967 in Fort Worth to David Linoel and Marma Gail Caudle Cleveland.

Lois LeGrand, 84, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2014.
Memorial service was held Tuesday, April, 15, at White’s Azle Chapel.
Lois was born Jan. 9, 1930 to John and Hazel McKinney in Lockhaven, Pennsylvania. She was a retired registered nurse and had worked as a home health care giver after her retirement. Lois married Tony Palaia and raised a family, and years later married Rudolph LeGrand. She loved bowling, crocheting, playing bingo and hanging out with her friends.… Read the rest
Lonnie Venable went to be with his Lord Saturday, April 12, 2014 after a three year battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis.
