Wanda Ray Steele Martin Fields, 83, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother and sister passed away, Thursday, Jan. 22, 2015.

Wanda was born Feb. 21, 1931 to Mansel and Ethel Steele in Azle. They both preceded her in death along with a son, David Martin.

Robert Allen “Bob” Knowles, Jr. of Azle, 67, executive chief deputy in the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Department, passed away Friday, Jan. 9, 2015.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2015 at Most Blessed Sacrament in Arlington. He was buried in Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington.
A native of Quanah, Bob was born Oct. 29, 1947, to Robert Allen Knowles and Emily Ann Leyendecker Knowles. His career in law enforcement took him to the Dallas Sheriff’s Department for 27 years and the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Department for the last 14 years. Lonnie James Moore, 60, passed away, Jan. 17, 2015 at Clements Unit in Amarillo, Texas.

He was born Oct. 20, 1954 in Tarrant County and a resident of Lake Worth and Azle, graduating in 1973 from Lake Worth High School. Lonnie worked and was a boilermaker by trade, a rodeo cowboy and bullrider at heart, he worked for several professional rodeo producers. Patsy was born Sept. 15, 1946, in Salina, Kansas, to Franz Joseph and Patricia Jo Gerl. Her father and husband were both Air Force retirees. She traveled in the military to Japan, where she taught English to Japanese students. Patsy worked for the Austin State Board of Insurance prior to meeting her husband.
