Katherine Ann Plummer Lewis passed away peacefully at her home in Azle Texas on June 14, 2017.
There is no service scheduled.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to your local charities that care for families during illnesses.
Kate graduated from Wamego High School. While raising her two children, Kate went to the University of Kansas where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design. She loved to quilt, making them for family and friends. Kate also made children’s quilts for the children in Chapala, Mexico, where she would go in the winter.

Robert Dane Morrow, 57, loving husband, Dad, Pops, brother and friend passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017.
Service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church of Springtown. Interment: Annis Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of White’s Funeral Home.
Robert was born in Muleshoe to C.B. and Audie Dozier Morrow. He honorably served his country in the United Sates Army for 23 years and participated in Operation Enduring Freedom in 2003. Robert enjoyed being with his family, especially his beautiful grandchildren, and many friends. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

Harry “Leo” Rice Jr., also known as Sarge, 61, of Fort Worth, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, June 14, 2017.
Services were held Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Azle Church of Christ under the direction of White’s Azle Funeral Home.
Leo was a life-long resident of Fort Worth. He was one of a kind. A loyal friend, fair, honest and loving man who would always have your back. He was a police officer with the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office for 25 years, retiring as a sergeant in the patrol division in 2006.

Evelyn Jacobs McGilvray, 83, of Azle, was welcomed into heaven by her Lord and by her husband, “Little Earl” on Friday, May 26, 2017.
Memorial service wil be head at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 24, 2017, in Biggers Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation is from 10-11 a.m. Saturday.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Evelyn’s memory to the Azle Public Library or to a charity of choice.

Sherman Leon Osbon, 84, passed away Friday, June 16, 2017.
Memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Ash Creek Baptist Church, Azle, with Pastor Wesley Shotwell, officiating.
Sherman was an active member of Ash Creek Baptist Church. He was a longtime senior bowling league champion. He was a loving father and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Osbon in 2002.
Survivors include his sons, Mark Osbon and Coy Osbon.

Sandra Paddock Cattes 1947 – 2017

Sandra Paddock Cattes, 69, of Lake Worth, Texas passed away on June 12, 2017.
As per her wishes she was cremated and no public service was held.
Sandra was born in Azle on Sept. 5, 1947. After graduating from Azle High School, Sandra went on to become a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
She spent most of her life saving lives as a nurse and touched many lives.
She is survived by her brother, Gary Paddock; son, Tom Cattes; grandchildren, Taylor Cattes, Charity Cattes and Nora Roberts; nieces, Kelly Paddock Guess-Basting, Deidra Paddock Pierce and nephew, Shane Paddock.

Roy Vance Hooper, 77, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017 in Azle.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2017 in Biggers Funeral Chapel, with Creighton Morris of First Baptist Church of Lakeside officiating. Burial was in Azleland Cemetery. Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Biggers Funeral Home.
Roy was born in Fort Worth to Lee Roy and Rosa Newson Hooper on Sept. 21, 1939. He went to school at Azle and Lake Worth.
He married Johnnie Kocian on Sept. 4, 1959 in Decatur, and retired as a Supervisor for the City of Fort Worth Sanitation Department where he had worked for 37 years.… Read the rest

Paul was born on Aug. 22, 1945 to William “Willie” and Annie (Green) Bean in Hillsboro. He was united in marriage to Deloris Kilgore on May 11, 1966 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Paul proudly served his country in the United States Army. He retired from Affiliated Auto Salvage after 28 years of service.

John “Skeet” C. Gibbs, beloved son, father and husband, passed away suddenly on Monday, June 5, 2017.
Funeral service was held at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment was at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Skeet graduated from Azle High School. He worked for 25 years for the City of River Oaks. He never met a stranger and would talk with anyone from the time he was a small child. He was loved by everyone who knew him. Skeet always had a tender heart especially for animals and reptiles. He also loved to talk, especially about baseball.

Raymond was born May 4, 1956 in Waynesboro, Mississippi to James E. Sr. and Mary Lee Wells. Since 1959, Raymond was raised by his foster parents JT and Ola English in Azle.
