Summertime sports camp season shaping up with pre-registration now ongoing

Registration has begun for this summer’s camps.

And the annual Performance Course runs three different stretches.

Session I for males in grades 9-12 goes from 7-8:30 a.m. and costs $200 ($220 after May 23). It runs June 10-Aug. 1.

Session II for girls entering grades 6-12 costs $195 ($215 after May 23). It is slated for June 10-July 25.

Session III for boys grades 6-8 has a $195 fee ($215 after May 23) and runs from 10:30 a.m.-noon June 17-Aug. 1.

Azle High diamonds will be busy on the opening day of camps with softball and baseball beginning.

June 3-6Softball: grades K-9. 8:30-11 a.m. $65 (includes lunch). Fee rises to $75 after May 31.

Baseball: Session I, grades 2-6, 8-10 a.m. Session II, grades 7-9, 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. $50, $40 for each additional family member. Times change on June 6, “reward day.”

June 10-13Boys basketball: Session I, grades 3-6, 8:30 a.m.-noon. Session II, grades 7-9, 1-4:30 p.m. Cost TBA.

Tennis: grades 5-9. $50. Due on or before June 1.

June 17-20Wrestling: Session I, grades 1-5, 8-10 a.m. Session II, grades 6-8, 10-noon. $40.

June 24-27Soccer: Session I, grades 1-2, 8:30-9:15 a.m., $30. Session II, grades 3-6, 9:30-11. $40. Session III, grades, 7-9, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. $50. Late fee of $10 after June 7.

July 29-Aug. 1Girls basketball: Session I for grades 1-4, 8-9 a.m., $20. Session II for grade 5-7, 9:30-noon, $60; Session III for grades 8-9, 1-4 p.m., $65.

Aug. 5-8Youth football: TBA.

Volleyball is also TBA.
