Robotic fish tested in TX

There are some robotic fish swimming around the Texas coast.

Don’t worry – they’re good robotic fish.

Texas Parks and Wildlife Department in conjunction with Homeland Security has released a BIOSwimmer in the Gulf.

Shaped like a tuna, the unmanned, highly maneuverable critter has been set free near the docked Battleship TEXAS in Laporte.

Comprised of “a sophisticated suite of sensors,” the BIOSwimmer is being tested by having it explore nooks and crannies of the WWII ship.
