Marguerite (Kidder) Fuller, of Middle Avenue in Mexico, Maine and Azle, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, June 28, 2013, after a brief illness.
The memorial service was held Tuesday, July 2 at the First Baptist Church in Rumford, Maine. Condolences and notes to the family may be offered at In lieu of flowers, donations should be sent to the Azle Memorial Library or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Born on Granite Street in Ridlonville, Maine on Nov. 28, 1929, the daughter of Elwood and Ethel Kidder, Marguerite attended Mexico schools graduating from Mexico High School in 1947. She played basketball and softball in high school. She was married in 1947 to Leslie Fuller Jr. She was a member of the Junior Mothercraft Club for many years. When her sons were young, she was a Cub Scout den mother. She was member of the Mexico First Baptist Church for many years volunteering in different capacities. She also spent many summers at the family camp on Webb Lake in Weld, Maine. More recently, Marguerite was a member of the West Parkway Baptist Church in Azle. For the last 20 years, she and her husband divided their time between Texas and Maine. She enjoyed many friends and loved ones in the Azle, Springtown and Lake Dallas areas. She always enjoyed the music at the old Laundry-Mat on South Stewart St. and the music group at Truman Circle. One of her very favorite things in Azle was Mark Dean’s chopped bar-b-que sandwiches. An avid reader, she enjoyed going to the Azle Memorial Library. Anyone who knew her, however, knows that she did not love the Texas heat as she was from Maine. Marguerite loved watching the Little League Baseball and Softball World Series every August. She loved reading and was a member of the Café Book Club at the Mexico Library for many years. She passed that love of reading on to her children. She always said that one should learn something new every day. She was a fun and loving person. She will be missed by many.
Marguerite was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Ruth; and brother, George.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Leslie Fuller; children, Lynn Young and husband, Rusty of Homestead, Florida, Andrew Fuller and wife, Cathy of Westport Island, Maine, Bruce Fuller and wife, Mary Ann of Lake Dallas, Kirk Fuller and wife, Karen of Springtown and Lisa Yoder and husband, Tim of Langhorne, Pennsylvania; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Earl Kidder of Auburn, Maine; and many nieces and nephews.
