Many residents in the town of Lakeside remember 2005 well.
That was the year the town came close to running out of water.
Since then, the town council has educated itself and studied its options.
Mayor Pat Jacob says he believes the work the council has done and actions it has taken provide solutions that will see the town’s water infrastructure – and its supply – through the next 50 years.
