Just when area residents were becoming comfortable that earthquakes here might be a thing of the past…the earth shook again.
A magnitude 2.8 earthquake, centered in the 800 block of South Reno Road, shook homes in the area at 5:52 p.m. Wednesday, June 21.
According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS) website, 117 people registered on the “Did You Feel It” portion of the site.
A swarm of earthquakes – 30 of them over a 60-day period – from Nov. 5, 2013 through Jan. 28, 2014, garnered national attention.
