Azle grad, wife indicted for Kaufman murders

Eric Lyle Williams, a 1985 graduate of Azle High School, and his wife, Kim Williams, were each indicted on three counts of capital murder by a Kaufman County Grand Jury Thursday, June 27.
Eric Williams is believed to have murdered Kaufman County Assistant District Attorney Mark Hasse as he walked to work Jan. 31; and Kaufman County District Attorney Mike McLelland and his wife, Cynthia, as they slept in their home in late March. Kim Williams is believed to been in the getaway car during the murders.
