No involuntary action will be taken

“No further discussion or action.”
That is how Azle Mayor Alan Brundrett informed those in attendance at the Nov. 28 meeting of the Azle City Council that no action would be taken on involuntary annexation.
No further action was needed because, as Brundrett also announced, the city had secured development or non-annexation agreements with owners of 86.5 percent of the land in the proposed annexation areas.
