Azle High School drama students collected almost a ton of food to give the Community Caring Center.
Azle High School’s drama students collected 1,745 pounds of non-perishable food items from local neighborhoods Wednesday, Oct. 30.
The students, in turn, presented the food to Azle’s Community Caring Center to help with that organization’s mission to help feed the hungry.
It’s all part of a nationwide community service project called “Trick-or-Treat So Kids Can Eat” sponsored by the International Thespian Society (ITS).
