Rosemary “Rosie” Brown 1946 – 2013

Rosemary “Rosie” Brown, 66, found her place in heaven Friday, May 3, 2013 peacefully surrounded by family and friends.
Family and friends will gather to remember Rosie from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 18 at the Brown home in Aledo. In lieu of flowers, consideration of contributions to the American Cancer Society or Community Hospice of Texas in her memory is suggested.
Born in Fort Worth on July 19, 1946, Rosie was the beloved daughter of R.V. and Rozell Wrinkle. She graduated from Azle High School before continuing her education at the University of North Texas. As a dedicated employee of GD/Lockheed Martin for 35 years, she made many lifelong friends and enjoyed a successful career as an executive assistant. She had a passion for life and enjoyed traveling, decorating and spending time with family, friends and dog, Ollie. She was an inspiration to all whose lives she touched and will be remembered for her caring nature, fun-loving spirit and big, beautiful smile. She will remain forever in our thoughts.
Rosie was the cherished wife of Roger Norris Brown for 40 years; the loving mother of daughters, Jennifer Brown and Regan Brown; and beloved sister of Jerry Reece of Azle.
