Azle ISD Showcase to be a ‘science fair on steroids’

This year’s Azle ISD Showcase – where “the best of Azle ISD is on display” – arrives Thursday, May 23.

Every grade level and every subject matter will be illustrated from 6-8 p.m. throughout Azle High School.

The free event will offer over 170 exhibitors, including a Gold Card booth for the 2013-14 school year and a Fuel-Up Play 60 booth where a Dallas Cowboy is slated to be a special guest.

Among the classes in which AISD students will display demonstrations: science, math, English/language arts/ social studies, foreign language, and career and technology.

Children can enjoy hands-on activities.

Musical performances by high school, junior high, and elementary students are scheduled.

Technology exhibits and art work will be displayed.

A food court will also be open.

Remote parking will be available at Forte Junior High.

Students will be on hand to answer questions about their exhibits at the Showcase, referred to as “a science fair on steroids.”
