Azle High School drama students collected almost a ton of food to give the Community Caring Center.
Azle High School’s drama students collected 1,745 pounds of non-perishable food items from local neighborhoods Wednesday, Oct. 30.
The students, in turn, presented the food to Azle’s Community Caring Center to help with that organization’s mission to help feed the hungry.
It’s all part of a nationwide community service project called “Trick-or-Treat So Kids Can Eat” sponsored by the International Thespian Society (ITS).… Read the rest

Azle High School’s Marching Green Pride placed 13th in Division 4A at State UIL Marching Band Competition held Tuesday, Nov. 5 at the Alamodome in San Antonio.

Marvin Dunlop has seen Springtown change a lot in the 83 years he has lived here.
He enlisted in the Navy in 1944 when he was 18 years old.
