Robinson volleyball era under way with 1-1 start

August 14, 2013

Volleyball coach Jennifer Robinson “hit the ground running” when two-a-day practices began at Azle High School.

Replacing Amy Woosley, Robinson, who played for UTA, noted that her style of play was something the Lady Hornets weren’t used to.

Still, Azle (1-1) opened with a thrilling 25-27, 25-22, 25-23, 21-25, 16-14 victory over host Joshua Aug. 13.

In match two, state-ranked Decatur (No. 3 in 3A) beat AHS 12-25, 16-25, 14-25.
