Kayla Marie Hoover of Azle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Keith and Carol Hoover, and Benjamin Alan Simpson of Aledo, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh and Denise Simpson, were united in marriage at 6 p.m. July 6, 2013, at First Presbyterian Church in Fort Worth.

The bride wore an elegant strapless gown designed by Lazaro. The a-line gown featured a stunning sweetheart neckline, natural waist in organza with a chapel train, beautiful detailed bodice covered with Swarovski crystals and a cathedral-length veil.

The bride was attended by her sister and Maid of Honor, Cara Hoover. Her bridesmaids were Leila Bailey, Hayley Cox, Lauren McMurrey, and Morgan Moore.

The groom’s brother and Best Man was Frank Simpson. His groomsmen were Bo Beins, Tyler Beins, Kyle Hoover, and Kaden Hoover.

Flower girls were the bride’s niece, Zoey Dupriest and cousin, Marryn McMurrey. The ringbearer was the bride’s cousin, Coby Latta.

Reverend Dr. Michael Waschevski officiated the ceremony and music was provided by vocalists and aunts of the bride, Lana Hoover and Lisa Rogers as well as organist, Dr. Robert August.

A reception followed at the Fort Worth Club in the Top of the Town Ballroom where guests enjoyed music by FX Entertainment.

The bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wendal Hoover and the late Mrs. Christine Wilson. The groom is the grandson of the late Mr. Flavel Simcox, Mrs. Louise Simcox and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Simpson.

The bride graduated from Azle High School in 2006 and is graduating from Texas Woman’s University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in dance studies.

The groom graduated from Aledo High School in 2006 and graduated from University of Oklahoma in 2011 where he earned Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in finance and energy management.

Following a honeymoon in St. John, Virgin Islands, the couple will reside in Keller.
