Shirley Fay Davidson, 76, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, in Ft. Worth.
Funeral services were held on Monday, Oct. 14, at White’s Funeral Chapel in Azle. With internment at Ash Creek Cemetery.
Shirley was born April 26, 1937, in Stigler, Okla. to the late Elmer and Linnie Hill. Before moving to Azle fifteen years ago, she was a long term California resident. She was a retired office manager and a member of the Silver Sneakers at the Lake Worth YMCA. She attended the First Baptist Church of Azle.
Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Davidson; parents; two sisters and four brothers.
Survivors include her son, Mike Davidson and wife, D’Andra; daughters, Shelley Skaggs and Terri Davidson; grandchildren, Kindra, Ashley, DeAnn, Justin, Jessica, Amanda and Haley; great-grandchildren; Scarlet Rose, Layne and Gage; sister, Deanna Adams; beloved companion, Benji; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
