Local artists help fill local food pantry shelves

March 12, 2014

Three Azle area artists are taking part in Empty Bowls of Fort Worth, a fundraiser that benefits the Tarrant Area Food Bank (TAFB).

The TAFB distributes fresh, frozen, and nonperishable groceries to charities in 13 counties, including Azle’s Community Caring Center, Cindy Bishop Ministries, the Azle Senior Center, Inasmuch Pantry at Eagle Mountain Lake Methodist Church, and the Azle ISD’s BackPack for Kids program that services seven elementary schools and both junior highs.
