‘Bay seniors getting help

In recent weeks, several cases involving concerns for the  welfare of some elderly individuals have been reported to the Pelican Bay Police Department according to Chief Jason Farris.
“Some of the cases we have seen are completely unacceptable and even life-threatening,” Farris said. “The cold weather hasn’t helped matters.”
Farris says in two of the reported incidents, officers observed homes littered with animal feces, rotten food, and human waste.
