Stabbing to blame for FM 730 tie-up

September 25, 2013

By Carla Noah Stutsman

Traffic both north and south bound on FM 730 North was shut down for about 20 minutes Saturday evening around 9 p.m.

The road closure was not due to a traffic accident – something area residents are entirely accustomed to – but in order to land a CareFlite air ambulance to pick up a patient.

Parker County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call in the 1600 block of West Bill B Road in which a 47-year-old Azle man was accidentally stabbed.
