Bond package to cost taxpayers less than expected

The $20 million bond package presented by the Board of Trustees for the Azle Independent School District at the November General Election passed by a wide margin, but it turns out the projected tax increase represented by the board were not exactly correct.
In fact, taxpayers will pay substantially less than the amounts projected prior to the election.
