Local Arrests

The following individuals list addresses in Azle, Lakeside, Pelican Bay, Reno, or the surrounding area and were arrested by various law enforcement agencies on felony and DWI charges during July 16-30.
Parker County
Aaron Lynn Free, 26, of Azle, was arrested July 16 by Parker County Sheriff’s deputies and charged with possession of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 1, less than one gram, a state jail felony. He remained in jail as of press time in lieu of $7,500 bond.
Keaton Noah Sherman, 22, of Azle, was arrested July 16 by Parker County Sheriff’s deputies and charged with possession of marijuana, 5-50 pounds, a third-degree felony. He posted $10,000 bond and was released the following day.
Charlene Laverne Baker, 33, of Azle, was arrested July 19 by Parker County Sheriff’s deputies and charged with possession of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 1, less than one gram, a state jail felony. She posted $20,010 bond and was released July 24.
Matthew Scott Henry, 36, of Azle, was arrested July 20 by Texas Department of Public Safety troopers and charged with possession of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 1, one to four grams, a third-degree felony. He posted $12,000 bond and was released July 27.
Tim Clyde Luster, 75, of Reno, was arrested July 22 by Reno Police officers and charged with aggravated assault against a public servant, a first-degree felony. He remained in jail as of press time in lieu of $75,000 bond.
Dowlen Wayne Adee, 53, of Azle, was arrested July 29 by Parker County Sheriff’s deputies and charged with driving while intoxicated, his second, a Class A misdemeanor. He remained in jail as of press time in lieu of $5,000 bond.
Joshua Stephen Lorenzo, 18, of Azle, was arrested July 27 by Springtown Police officers and charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle, a state jail felony’ driving while intoxicated, a Class B misdemeanor; and possession of marijuana, less than two ounces, a Class B misdemeanor. He remained in jail as of press time in lieu of $13,000 bond.
Micky Wayne Burgess, 50, of Azle, was arrested July 30 by Reno Police officers and charged with driving while intoxicated, his second, a Class A misdemeanor. He remained in jail as of press time with no bond set.

Tarrant County
Joe Bill Warren, 60, of Azle, was arrested July 15 and charged with driving while intoxicated, his third or more such charge, a third-degree felony. He was also subject of a warrant for parole violation. He remained in jail as of press time with no bond set.
Trae Buchanan, 25, of Azle, was arrested July 17 by Fort Worth Police officers and charged with theft of property valued $2,500-$30,000, a state jail felony; evading arrest or detention and possession of a prohibited weapon, knuckles, both Class A misdemeanors. On July 20, the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office added the charge of displaying fictitious vehicle registration, a Class B misdemeanor. He posted $5,250 bond and was released July 25.
Joshua Allen Gill, 31, of Azle, was arrested July 18 and charged with theft from a person, enhanced, a third-degree felony; evading arrest or detention with a vehicle, also a third-degree felony; and theft of property valued $2,500-$30,000, a state jail felony. He remained in jail as of press time in lieu of $10,000 bond.
Larry Eugene Sadler, Jr., 40, of Lakeside, was arrested July 20 by Fort Worth Police officers and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony. He was also the subject of three River Oaks Police Department warrants and two from the Irving Police Department. He remained in jail as of press time in lieu of $11,111 bond.
Matthew Grayson, 35, of Azle, was arrested July 22 and charged with driving while intoxicated, a Class B misdemeanor. He posted $500 bond and was released later the same day.
Randy Michael Cecil, 51, was arrested July 23 by Fort Worth Police officers and charged with burglary of a habitation, a second-degree felony. He remained in jail as of press time in lieu of $10,000 bond.
Abdulla Amman Khasawheh, 31, of Azle, was arrested July 23 by Bedford Police officers and charged with evading arrest or detention with a vehicle, a third-degree felony and failure to identify as a fugitive by providing false information, a Class A misdemeanor. He remained in jail as of press time in lieu of $6,000 bond.
Gabriel Eugene Perez, 35, of Azle, was arrested July 25 and charged with interfering with child custody, a state jail felony. He was released the following day.
Brittany Nichole Cox, 26, of Azle, was arrested July 27 by Hurst Police officers and charged with possession of controlled substance in Penalty Group 3, 28-200 grams, a state jail felony; possession of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 1, less than one gram, a state jail felony; possession of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 2, less than one gram, a state jail felony; possession of a dangerous drug, a Class A misdemeanor; and assault causing bodily injury, a Class A misdemeanor. She remained in jail as of press time in lieu of $8,300 bond.
Dennis Ray Turner, 51, of Azle, was arrested July 27 and charged with theft of property with two or more previous convictions, a state jail felony. He was also the subject of four Balch Springs Police Department warrants. He was released July 29.
