State grants help county libraries

September 11, 2013

By Mark K. Campbell

Parker County libraries were awarded $59,971 in a pair of grants through the state of Texas.

Both grants funnel through the Weatherford Public Library to the Parker County Library Association (PCLA).

Azle and Springtown’s public libraries will benefit from a program that receives $10,000 to add electronic subscriptions to the services currently offered by the PCLA.

That association includes Azle Memorial Library, Springtown Public Library, Weatherford Public Library, East Parker County Library,  and Millsap Elementary/Public Library.
