Local charities to benefit from ‘Hunger Action Month’

Private charities in both Azle and Springtown will get a boost if enough people respond to Hunger Action Month 2013 this September.

Several Parker County charities work with the Tarrant Area Food Bank (TAFB) – and every smidgen of assistance is needed.

According to the 2013 Map the Meal Gap, one in five children in Parker County live in a household that cannot “consistently afford sufficient nutrition to support a healthy growth.”
