Dechert Memorial Tourney April 30

The 8th Annual Sid Dechert Memorial Golf Tournament is slated for an 8 a.m. shotgun start Wednesday, April 30, at Cross Timbers Golf Course, 1181 S. Stewart Street in Azle.
The event is sponsored by State Representative Charlie Geren.

Physicals offered at AHS April 24

April 23, 2014

Many school activities require the passing of a medical physical. Exams will be offered for $20 at the high school gym Thursday, Apr. 24 beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Doctors and staff from John Peter Smith Hospital, AISD trainers, and coaches will be part of the process. Youths should wear shorts and t-shirts.
Activities that require physicals: football, cheerleading, tennis, cross country, volleyball, wrestling, basketball, soccer, baseball, softball track, powerlifting, swimming, and golf.… Read the rest

Youth dance at Azle JH April 25

A Neon Glow Dance for fifth and sixth grade students who attend Azle and Hoover Elementary Schools will be held at Azle Junior High, 6-9 p.m. Friday, April 25. Admission is $5 per student.

City of Reno egg hunt April 19

Reno will host its annual Easter egg hunt Saturday, Apr. 19 at 1030 Quail Run at the Quail Run Stables.
Kids will be released in waves: 0-3 years old, 1 p.m.; 4-5 years old, 1:30 p.m.; 6-8 years old, 2 p.m.; and 9-13 years old, 2:30 p.m. All should bring their own baskets.
