Rebecca and Manuel Lopez, III were wed June 27, 1964 at the First Baptist Church in San Angelo.
The couple moved to Fort Worth to begin their new life and careers shortly after. Manuel and Rebecca quickly adapted as Manuel went to work for General Dynamics while Rebecca, a licensed vocational nurse, worked at Fort Worth Osteopathic Hospital.
The couple achieved major milestones – from purchasing the first of many homes to creating their family. The children of Royce and Geraldine Daniels of Azle invite friends and relatives to a come-and-go cake reception to celebrate the couple’s 60th wedding anniversary. The reception will be from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, May 10 at in the Condo Clubhouse at Texas Motor Speedway in far north Fort Worth. Royce Daniels and Geraldine Bell were united in marriage May 1, 1954, in Fort Worth. They are the parents of four children: Linda Roof and husband Mike; Demilla Autry and husband Gene; Gerald Daniels and wife Lianne; and Steven Daniels and wife Cynthia. Reverend Julie Price of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Reston, Virginia performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Sharon and Thomas Hicks of Azle. She is a 2000 graduate of Azle High School and a 2004 graduate of Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia. She earned her Master of Arts degree from Hunter College in New York City.

Heather Lee Johnston and Gary Scott Chambers were united in marriage March 1 at 2 p.m.at Chapel Dulcinea, a famous open-air wedding chapel that sits daringly on the edge of an ancient walking trail in Driftwood.
Monte Moore, step-father of the bride, officiated and the couple rang the historic church bell after their “I do.”
