Harold Ray and Dot Wright of Azle celebrated 60 years of marriage March 2. The couple was married on the same date in 1956 at the Lake Worth home of Dot’s parents, Clois and Edith Steel. Now retired from dairy farming as well as General Dynamics/Lockheed-Martin, the Wrights have three children: Carolyn and husband Tom Schlueter; Harold Wright, Jr. and wife Diana; and Ricky Wright and wife Cheryl; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. The Fowlers are blessed with one son, Cortlan Fowler, daughter-in-law Kimberly Sproles Fowler, and grandchildren Lauren and Cullin Fowler, all of Azle.
After serving four years in the U.S. Air Force, they returned to live in Azle. Tommy spent 31 years with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers as a mechanical/architectural technician receiving 17 certificates of appreciation and commendations from the Department of the Army.… Read the rest
