Patricia was born Oct. 11, 1938, in El Paso to Col. James and Manu Parker.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Clay Sr.

Verbon Arnold Owen, 87, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016, at home surrounded by his family.
Service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Walnut Creek Baptist Church. Committal with military honors at Azleland Memorial Park. Visitation was held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Biggers Funeral Home.

Carl Bradley Steagall, 55, passed from this life unexpectedly on April 24, 2016, due to heart failure while on a business trip in Indiana.
Carl was born in Baltimore, Maryland on Nov. 10, 1960 and spent his early childhood in southern California. About the time he entered his teens, the family moved to Lebanon, Tennessee where Carl lived a bucolic life on the family farm near Nashville. In his senior year he moved to Texas to live with his father.
He was a graduate of Aledo High School in Aledo, Texas and later studied at Texas Tech and Del Mar College before returning to California to pursue a career in restaurant management.… Read the rest
Mary Edrie Long, 96, a loving mother and grandma, passed away peacefully, Sunday, May 1, 2016. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday in Springtown Cemetery, under the direction of Alexander’s Midway Funeral Home.
Mary was born Feb. 20, 1920 in Parker County to Tom and Emma Deason Chilcutt. They both preceded her in death along with her husband, Roy M. Long. She was a member of The Union Baptist Church.

Dennis Wynn passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2016.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, April 30 at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Azle.
Although Dennis’s passing was unexpected, he was ready to meet Jesus face-to-face. He was very gratified to be able to say goodbye to all of his family and many of his friends that he loved so much. He is loved by so many and will be sorely missed.
Dennis was a man who was loved by family and countless friends alike.
Dennis enjoyed being with his family. They enjoyed trips together, particularly camping in Big Bend National Park, taking a jeep up the mountains in Colorado, and halibut fishing in Alaska.… Read the rest

David Ray Ervin, 53, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2016 after a long battle with cancer.
A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m., Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Outreach of Love Church, Springtown.
David was born June 5, 1962 in Wichita Falls to Eugene Valton Ervin & Sarah Julynn Ervin. David was an outstanding husband, father, brother, uncle, son-in-law, and friend. He was also a dedicated employee to Azle Oaks Apartments for 37 years.
