Jack B. Pipla, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2016.
Service was held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday in White’s Azle Chapel. Interment will be held 11:15 A.M. Thursday at DFW National Cemetery.
Jack was born November 21, 1930 in Hennessey, Oklahoma to the late Joe and Artie Marie Pipla. He honorably served his country in the United States Army. Jack was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He retired from Arizona Public Service after 35 years.

Michael Mozisek, 66, passed away Friday, March 4, 2016 with his loving family by his side.
Michael was born July 8, 1949 in San Antonio to James Anthony and Isabelle Mozisek. He enjoyed working with computers, loved to watch western movies, especially John Wayne. Michael honorably served his country in the United States Air Force as a Sargent. He was a wonderful family man, good at working on automobiles, especially his 72 Dodge Charger SE Edition, of which he was so proud.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Dale Mozisek.

Robert Lane Shearer, 57, a loved brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend passed away from cancer, on Sunday, March 6th, 2016, at a Fort Worth Hospital, with family by his side.

The youngest of 6 children, Robert was born in Azle on September 12, 1958 to Eartis and Anna Ketcham Shearer. He graduated from Azle High School in 1977 and was a talented carpenter/cabinet maker by trade. Christian Shane Fonville, 14, of Azle was welcomed into heaven Friday, Feb. 26, 2016, while surrounded by his family and enormous amounts of prayer.
Service was at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church of Azle. Committal was at 4 p.m. at New Hope Cemetery in Jones County. Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church of Azle, 200 Church St. in Azle.

Ramon Lopez, 89, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 3, 2016, surrounded by his loving family.

Ramon was born June 24, 1926, in Davenport, Iowa. He graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce, June 8, 1951. Ramon was a World War II veteran and served in the U.S. Navy from June 6, 1944, to July 5, 1946. This world lost a very feisty, loving wife, mother (mom), nanny, sister, aunt and friend.

She loved crafts, painting, sewing and her doll collection.

Emagene was born December 22, 1916 in Italy, Texas to Eli and Bessie Beck Murphree. She raised four children.
Emagene loved to play music with the Humdingers Band at the Senior Citizen Center. She was a devoted Christian lady and was active in the GA’s at the Baptist Church. She lived in Azle for 95 years beginning school at 5 years and graduated from Azle High School.… Read the rest

Kenneth Eugene Bankhead was born Feb. 18, 1941 in Lawndale, California to Charlie B. Bankhead and Irma Clara Waddle-Bankhead. Kenneth married Zelma “June” Rich. Together, they raised two sons and a daughter; Timmy Hudson, Kenneth Bankhead Jr. and Christyna Breitenstein. Kenneth also leaves ten grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and countless friends. Kenneth will be greatly missed.

Gladys Keels, 84, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016. Funeral service is at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Second Baptist Church, Angleton.
Burial: Immediately following at Angelton Cemetery.
Gladys was born November 12, 1931 in Marcus, Iowa to Samuel Thomas and Lena Arizona Richards. They both preceded her in death along with her husband, Marshall Keels and five brothers and three sisters.
