Nadine Laveda Christian, 83, was called home to be her Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2016.
Funeral service was held Monday, Oct. 10 at Greenwood Chapel. Interment followed at Greenwood Funeral Home.
Nadine was born March 14, 1933 in Savannah, Tennessee to Buster and Emma Snodgrass.
She married Paul E. Christian on July 12, 1951 in Corinth ,Mississippi.
She and Paul moved to Fort Worth in 1955 where they raised their five children. She owned and operated Christian’s Grocery and Tackle in Sansom Park for many years, and later became a Child Support Investigator for the Texas Attorney General’s office.… Read the rest
Randy L. Blake joined his wife, Sue Blake and step-daughter, Virginia McCormick in heaven on Sept. 16, 2016.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church-Castle Hills in Azle.
Randy was born on Dec. 7, 1946.
Randy is survived by his step-daughter, Colleen and son-in-law, Rob Ward along with his seven grandchildren Michael, Jeffrey (Taylor), Timothy, James, Heather, Kami (Michael) and Tiffany and five great-grandchildren, Landon, Cayson, Adilynn, Adelynn and Benson.

Katherine Jeanette Clark, 99, passed away Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016 at home, surrounded by her family.
Service is at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2016 at White’s Azle Chapel, 105 Denver Trail. Interment is at Azleland Memorial Park.Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at White’s Azle Funeral Home.
Jeanette, affectionately known to many as “Nannie” was born June 23, 1917 in Sanger to Ike and Flora Morris McClendon. After graduation from high school in Sanger, she married Johnnie Clark and was married to him until his death May 9, 1994. Zack was born Dec. 29, 1918 in New York to Martha Bookout White and James Vernon White. His hobbies included reading, music, pottery, and painting. Zack attended NYU, Bachelor of Divinity, and Salem College, Bachelor of Arts. Zack retired from a career in social work and continued to serve God and humanity in the church. Stewart R. Crabtree, 75, passed away Sunday, Oct. 9, 2016.
Friends and family are invited to attend a 3 p.m. visitation followed by a 4 p.m. Memorial Service at White’s Funeral Home Azle on Thursday, Oct. 13.
Stewart was born Feb. 15, 1941 in Lubbock, Texas to Trueman and Lena Crabtree. He grew up in Azle and graduated from Azle High School in 1959. Soon after graduation from Baylor University, he obtained his CPA license and began his public accounting career with Weaver & Tidwell in Fort Worth, Texas. JoAnn “Mitzi” McWilliams, 68, a retired insurance agent, went to be with our Lord Thursday, Oct. 6, 2016 in Azle.
Mitzi was born on March 11, 1948 to E. Mac and Georgia (Fiedler) McWilliams in Corpus Christi, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, James Stainton and wife Michaelyn of Decatur, Matthew Pergrem of Benbrook, Texas; her grandchildren, Carter, Cayson, and Camryn Stainton; and a host of friends.

Hal was born on Oct. 23, 1951 in Decatur to the late Vernon and Geneva Freeman.

Zechariah Daniel “Zac” Webb, a beloved husband, father, son and brother, died Monday, Oct. 3, 2016 in a Fort Worth hospital after a brief illness.
Services for Zac Webb, 33, of Springtown will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 8 at the Springtown Church of Christ.
Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 7 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Springtown Church of Christ. Burial will be at Jaybird Cemetery under the direction of Biggers Funeral Home.
Zac was born April 19, 1983 in Fort Worth. He was a 2001 graduate of Springtown High School, where he was an outstanding athlete, qualifying for the UIL State Track Meet as a senior in the 400 meter run.… Read the rest
Ronnie Ward Compton passed away Sept. 26, 2016 in Dallas.
Services were held on Saturday, October 1 at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel.
Ronnie was born July 9, 1960, in Austin, the son of Landy and Joann Compton. In his early days, Ronnie was an amateur bull rider. He then moved into the world of construction as his career but through it all, always loved the art of wood working.
