Lloyd Rutherford 1922 – 2016

Lloyd Edgar Stuart Dunbar Rutherford of Agassiz, Brittish Columbia died Sunday June 12, 2016 after a lengthy illness.
Born in Nova Scotia Sept. 16, 1922 he served in the Canadian Army during WWII as a member of the Calgary Highlanders.
Preceded in death his wife of 50 years, Helen Rutherford.
Survived by only daughter, Laurie Causey and her husband Hal Causey, as well as three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Richard Leland Lewis, 90, passed into the arms of his Heavenly Father, Tuesday, June 7, 2016.
Service was held Friday, June 10, 2016, at 3:30 p.m. at Greenwood in Fort Worth.
R.L. was born, July 6, 1925, in Crowell, Texas to Samuel & Clara Lewis. He honorably served his country in World War II PTO, where he was awarded three purple hearts and a commendation for valor.
R. L. married the love of his life, Lela Mae Visage on September 7, 1948. They lived in Azle for 52 years.
His loving survivors include son, Richard W. Lewis and his wife Elizabeth; grandchildren, Richard Cameron Lewis and wife, Chessaney and Connor D.… Read the rest

Charles D. Myers Jr., loving son, father, grandfather, brother and uncle passed away Thursday, June 16, 2016.
Funeral was held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Greenwood Chapel. Internment was held at Azleland Memorial Park with visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Greenwood.
Charles was preceded in death by his mother, Diana Lynn Canady, and fiancee, Tammy Vanderslice.
Survivors include father, Charles D. Lola “Dula” Frances Baird Burress went to be with the Lord Sunday, June 12, 2016 at 8 p.m.
Funeral was held at Greenwood Chapel, 3100 White Settlement Blvd. Fort Worth, Texas 76107 Friday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. Viewing was held Thursday evening 6 to 8 p.m.

It is with a sad and heavy heart that Geoffrey (Geoff) Lewis Day, age 51, of Azle, Texas was called home to be with his Lord on Memorial Day, Monday, May 30, 2016.
At Geoff’s request there will not be a visitation. Cremation has taken place and the interment will be at the Ash Creek Cemetary in Azle under the direction of White’s Azle Funeral Home. Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 9, 2016 at White’s Azle Chapel, 105 Denver Trail, Azle, Texas. Interment to follow at Hoggard Reynolds Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday prior to the service.
Sharman was born Sept. 11, 1949 in Fort Worth to Howard and Mildred Howard Hopkins.
Survivors include husband, Roe Ansley; son, Brady Ansley; daughter, Amber Ansley; numerous sisters-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.

Florence Seidel, 90, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2016.
Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday June 8 at White’s Azle Chapel, 105 Denver Trail, Azle.
Florence was born Feb. 14, 1926 in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania to Daniel Linwood and Bessie Reiff.
Florence loved to bake and getting friends and family together. She loved her puppy dogs, Missy and Joy. Florence was a great housekeeper and took care of her sister, Dorothy. She was a member of Pottstown Nazarene Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; three sisters; two daughters; and one son.
Survivors include husband of 68 years, Harrison Seidel; daughter, Wanda Spigelmyer; grandchildren, Ki Lee Spigelmyer and Darla Dee Fogolini; great-grandchildren, Thomas Ray Spigelmyer and Addison Rae Fogolini; and four legged babies, Missy and Joy.… Read the rest
