Louis Ray Flory 2016

Louis Ray Flory, 69, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 12, 2016, in his home after battling many chronic illnesses.
Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the sanctuary of Ash Creek Baptist Church in Azle.
Upon graduating high school, he joined the U.S. Army, serving as a tanker. After serving two years, he began a lifelong career in the tower business. At 36 and love at first sight, he married his wife of 34 years. He devoted his life to God, his family and his work.
After retiring from the tower business, he nestled into Azle and became an active member of his church in Boyd, Trinity Baptist Church.… Read the rest

Brian Keith Rogers, 53, of Azle, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016 in Fort Worth.
Visitation will be at White’s Funeral Home in Azle on Thursday, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Memorials in Brian’s name may be made to Fosters Home for Children, PO Box 978, Stephenville, TX  76401.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Edwards Funeral Home in Eastland.
Brian was born Sept. 28, 1962 in Memphis, Texas to Keith Rogers and Rebecca (Holcomb) Rogers.  He graduated from Petersburg High School in 1981 and attended Texas Tech University.  He married Nancy Chesshir  Feb. 14, 1999 in Ruidoso, New Mexico, blending their two families into one big happy family.… Read the rest

Harold Wood, Jr., 68, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016.
A memorial service was at 1 p.m. Friday, July 15, at White’s Funeral Home in Azle.
Harold was born and raised in Wallace, North Carolina. Harold and his wife Mary enjoyed watching TV together, and taking many trips to visit family and friends. He loved his computer, and computer gaming. He was an outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting, and camping.
Harold retired from the Navy after serving 30 years. He also worked 20 years with IKON Office Solutions, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Azle.
Survivors include wife, Mary; children, Amy LaSalle and Tommy Wood III; step-children, Jamie and Christina Epps; seven grandchildren; three brothers; one sister; many other family and friends.… Read the rest

Terry Michael Woolsey passed away July 7, 2016.
Service was held 10 a.m. Saturday July 16, at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel 7301 E Lancaster Ave Fort Worth, TX 76112. Interment followed at Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by father, Mike Woolsey; and brother, Michael James Reed.
Survivors include Tarrah Duncanson (James), daughter; Kendra Woolsey, daughter; Grant Woolsey, son; Lou Woolsey, mother; Larry Reed (Diane), brother; Thomas Reed, brother; Russell Reed (Patti), brother; Kenny Reed (Regina), brother; grandchildren, Joey , Amber, Taylor, Nick, and Dilan; great-grandchildren, Brycen.

Delbert I. Dake, 71, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday July 18, 2016 in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment was at  Ash Creek Cemetery in Azle.
Delbert was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia and brothers, Gary and David.
Survivors include mother, Margaret; sons, Delbert Jr., Daren and his wife, Renee and Scotty Dake; sisters, Marieta Starkey, Kathy Lott and Ellen Macias; brothers, Burce and Danny Dake; grandchildren, Zachary, Trever, Shane, Cloei and Callum; great-grandchildren, Skylar, Rebekah, Aidyn and Jensyn; god-daughters, Laycie and Sara Johnson.

Alma Tapp, 79, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend passed away Monday, July 18, 2016 at her home with her family by her side.
Memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Friday at LaJunta Baptist Church, 5207 E. Highway 199, Springtown, 76082, under the direction of White’s Funeral Home in Azle.
Alma was born Jan. 29, 1937 in Buchanan to Dewey and Doreen Logan. Alma taught Sunday school at her church for over 25 years. Her husband, Ray described his wife as “perfect”. Don Rutherford, 65 , passed away June 30, 2016.

Don was born June 3, 1952 at Lake Worth Hospital.
Don went to Azle High School and joined the Marines where he served in the Military Police. He was an Azle resident and worked in construction and as a butcher.
