Edward L. Thomas, 90, a loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away Sunday, April 3, 2016 on his 73rd wedding anniversary.
Service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Biggers Funeral Chapel and burial will be at Azleland Memorial Park. For the visitation the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Biggers Funeral Home.
Edward was born May 7, 1925 in Seymour, and has been an Azle resident for 66 years. He is a World War II veteran, and he retired from Lennox after 27 years of service.

Allen D. Shelton danced his way into heaven Friday, March 18, 2016.
A private memorial with close friends and family will be held at a later date…where his ashes will be scattered in the beautiful gardens he created so many years ago.
Allen was a veteran of the U.S. Army and per his wishes Neptune Society Crematory will handle all arrangements.

Frances “Fran” Cline, 86, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016.
Graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Monday at New Hope Cemetery under the direction of White’s Azle Funeral Home.
Frances was born Nov. 5, 1929 in Clarksville to F.H. and Linnie Jackson McHam.
She loved her family dearly and will be remembered for having a green thumb in growing gardens and flowers. Fran was an excellent cook and she loved to take care of the less fortunate. She made many quilts, sewed for people and canned lots of veggies. Fran was a member of New Hope Baptist Church for many years.… Read the rest

Robert Glenn Richardson, 55, passed away, Tuesday, March 22, 2016.

Glenn was born June 3, 1960 in Fort Worth to James and Maxine Rogers Richardson. They both preceded him in death.
Survivors include wife, Carolyn Richardson; son, Jeremy Richardson and wife, Angie; daughter, Amanda Richardson and husband, Dave; sisters, Gail Dollar and husband, James Braswell and Rhonda Richardson-Ritchey and husband, Brian; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandson. Billy Earl Barrett 1941 – 2016

Billy Earl Barrett, 74 years old of Springtown, Texas left this life Monday March 14, 2016.
Billy was born May 12, 1941 in Neohoka, Mississippi to Thurmand O. and Luna Mae Ladd-Barrett.
Billy met and later married Katie Lee Booth-Barrett. Together they raised four children, Billy Earl Tucker, Bille Jean Barrett-Walters, Wanda Elliott and Tammy White. Even though our hearts are heavy, he is with our Lord and Savior in heaven.
Survivors include brother William Barrett; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and countless friends.

Margaret Caroline Blythe, 97, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Monday, March 21, 2016 in Decatur.
Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Boyd Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Brother Danny Russell will officiate, assisted by Robert Bishop and Misty Spring. Pallbearers include Brian J. Bassham, Reese Moreno, Michael Bassham, Mark Gober, Michael Gober and Kyle Massie. Honorary pallbearers are James W. Blythe, Cody Webster and Patrick Kelley.

Gladys passed from this earth on March 19, 2016 in Weatherford, Texas.
Services were held on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Roberts Family Affordable Funeral Home at 5025 Jacksboro Highway, Fort Worth, Texas. Interment followed at Azleland Cemetery.
Gladys was born May 20, 1934 in Middleport, New York. Gladys met Pasquale D. Catone in 1953 and they were married on May 7, 1955.
Survivors include two daughters, Tina Child of Azle, Susan Johnson of Azle; son, Pasquale J. Catone of Colorado and sister Audrey Carey.

Avonne “Nonnie” Scott 1933 – 2016

Avonne “Nonnie” Jeanette Scott passed away March 8, 2016 at the age of 82 after a long challenge with dementia in Azle,Texas.
Memorial service and graveside service for Mom and Dad will be held Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 11 a.m. for family and friends at Springtown Cemetery.
Nonnie was born on Nov. 5, 1933 in Los Angeles, California. She was the daughter of Grayburn Martin (1906-1988) and Ermine (Carlisle) Hoeck (1913-1982). She married Herman Allen Scott, Jr. (1928-2014) on June 22, 1951 in California. They were inseparable for 63 years. They are now reunited.

Eula Faye “Fritz” Owens, 82, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2016.
Graveside service was held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation was from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Biggers Funeral Home.
Fritz was born Oct. 21, 1933, in Spur and has been a longtime resident of Lake Worth and Springtown. She retired in 1995 after 22 years with Miller Brewery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Owens; sons, Buddy Ray Owens and Donald Wayne Owens; and great-granddaughter, Taylor Owens.
Survivors include son, David E. Owens; sister, Florence Cromeens; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.… Read the rest
