Mary Margaret “Peggy” McComas Carey, 90, passed away Friday, May 24, 2013, in Fort Worth surrounded by her family.
The funeral was held Saturday, June 1 in Greenwood Chapel. Interment followed at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Margaret was born in Indian Mound on Jan. 19, 1923, to John Thomas Henry McComas and Ruth Stephens McComas. She spent most of her life in Azle where she was a homemaker, private nurse and avid gardener. She attended Eagle Mountain International Church until her health declined. She was married to Henry Thomas “Red” Carey, on July 12, 1940, in Fort Worth.

Nellene Geneva Atkins Hull, 79, loving mother, sister and grandmother, died Saturday, May 25, 2013.

Nellene was born July 30, 1933, to James and Ruby Francisco Atkins.
Nellene was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Howard; son, Phillip; granddaughter, Bethany; and brothers, Kenneth, Lloyd and Wayne.

Anna Lee Christophe, 94, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at her residence.
The service was held Friday, May 24 at LaJunta Baptist Church. Interment followed at Ash Creek Cemetery.
Anna Lee was born Aug. 26, 1918, in Bell County to Vince and Albina Dusek. She was a retired cake decorator for Winn Dixie. She had been a member of LaJunta Baptist Church since 1946. She married the love of her life, Frank Allen Christophe, Nov. 11, 1938.

Lois Ruth McKenzie, 87, passed away Monday, May 27, 2013, at a local care facility after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Dorothy Lee Taylor Penrod, 82, of Springtown passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013, in Tucson, Arizona from injuries sustained in an accident.

Alex Thomas of Springtown went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, May 20, 2013.

Mrs. King was born Aug. 18, 1924, in Fort Worth to Henry Lee Reynolds and Grace Winnie Armstrong Reynolds. She married James Richard King on March 18, 1942, in Weatherford. O.B. was born on May 15, 1916, in Dallas and was the only child of Oscar B. and Beryl Jordan. They moved to Fort Worth about 1930 where he graduated from Central High School in 1935. During the early ‘30s, he delivered telegrams for Western Union throughout the city of Fort Worth by bicycle.
