Linda S. Mosley, 69, passed away Friday, May 17, 2013. She was surrounded by all her family.
Celebration of life will be on Friday, May 24 at the First Baptist Church of Castle Hills at 401 Beverly, Azle, 76020. Visitation will held on Thursday, May 23 at Brown, Owens and Brumley’s Funeral Home, located at 425 S. Henderson, Fort Worth, 76104.
Linda loved being a volunteer for the mission house at her church for many years. She also had a passion of collecting pull tabs from aluminum cans to help people with disabilities, which the family plans to carry on in her memory. There will be a collection for tabs at the funeral. She had a passion for caring for people of all ages, especially for the the elderly. She was a certified nurse’s aid for most all of her working career.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Freda Lehr; great-grandchild, Caleb Reeves; and great-nephew, Clayton Booth.
Survivors include her sons, Douglas Carter Sr. and wife, Renae and Allen Mosley and wife, Kerry; daughters, Debbie Reynolds and Tammie Mosley; brothers, David Lehr and wife, Patricia, Donnie Lehr and wife, Sherry and Ronnie Lehr and wife, Karen; sister, Paula Briggs; grandchildren who knew her as Grandma include Shannon Reeves, Aaron Reeves, Dustin Reeves and wife, Amber, AJ Mosley, Jacob Mosley, Brantley Mosley, Amy Carter, Douglas Carter II and wife, Stephanie, Chance Lewis, Andrew Lewis, Beca Lewis, Lisa Mureno and husband, Lupe and Joe Thornton; great-grandchildren who knew her as GG include Melanie Reeves, Alex Reeves, Caelan Reeves, Jesse Jenkins, Zoe Reeves and Mercedies Mureno; eight nephews; two nieces; 19 great-nephews; and nine great-nieces.
