Tarleton honors heavy with Azle students

Tarleton State University released its Spring semester prestigious scholastic lists and plenty of Azle students are on them.

Four from Azle made the ‘A’ honor roll which requires students to keep a 4.0 in the 4.0 grading system while taking at least 12 hours.

Two of that quartet attend TSU at the Stephenville campus: Kendal Lance (majoring in kinesiology) and Courtney Villanueva (Spanish).

Another duo are studying at TSU’s Fort Worth campus: Michael Foster (criminal justice) and Hannah Watson (business administration).

Thirteen Azle students earned berths on the Distinguished Students’ List, which requires a GPA of 3.25 with no grades below a ‘C.’

Attending at the Stephenville campus: Sonya Lozano (history); Garrett Counts (kinesiology); Shannon Scoggins (business administration); Jeffrey John (business administration); Sage Harvey (animal science); Kelly Fitzwilliam (management); and Jonathan Tucker (kinesiology).

Six others attend the Fort Worth TSU campus: Matthew White (criminal justice); Myka Bradley (interdisciplinary studies); Garrett Hughes (accounting); James Slack (general studies); Hannah Cox (accounting); and Jared Latimer (applied science).
