Cross Timbers Golf Course Wreck

June 12, 2013
Ashley Nicole Luedke, 23, of Azle, told police the sun was in her eyes when a tan SUV coming toward her entered her lane early Tuesday morning, June 11, as she was traveling northeast in the 1100 block of South Stewart Street. Luedke said she swerved, missing the SUV, but striking a fire hydrant located at the entrance to Cross Timbers Golf Course and then the timber fence along the roadway. Her black 2013 Chrysler 200 P4 came to rest on the golf course property. Luedke claimed no injury, and damage estimates for repairs to the hydrant and fence were not yet available by press time. Photo by Carla Noah Stutsman
