Miss Parker County contestants sought

The annual Miss Parker County Peach Pageant is set for June 22 in Weatherford.
Eight different divisions will be contested at the Harberger Hill Community Building, 710 Narrow Street in Weatherford.
The fee if $40 for ages participating in the beauty section only.
Those contesting for Miss Peach Queen (ages 17-21) and Miss Peach Princess (13-16) pay $60.
Queen and Princesses divisions include an interview, talent, and beauty sections.
An optional talent fee is $20 for those 4-12 and an optional sportswear cost for ages 0-12 runs $10.
To enter the photogenic category, fees are $15 for the first picture and $5 for each additional picture.
Among the competition area:
• Party Dress – all contestants
• Photogenic – optional for all
• Talent – optional for ages 4-12
• Sportswear – optional for 0-12
• Talent – mandatory for Queen and Princess
The time limit for the talent competition is three minutes. Music must be supplied in advance.
The talent score is added to the beauty and interview score; no separate trophies will be awarded for talent or interview.
The winning Queen will receive $100 on stage; the top Princess gets $50, provided at least 50 contestants enter.
Every contestant receives a trophy.
The deadline for all fees, payable to Norma Crutcher, is June 14.
General admission is $5 for the pageant; children 12 and under get in free.
